In 1972, independent tax consulting and auditing firms throughout Germany joined together to form a national organization under the name HLB. This now enables a network of 21 self-employed and independent companies in over 30 locations. In 2016, it reached 3rd place in the category of auditor networks with independent member firms operating in Germany.

The cooperation between Schomerus and the US law firm WONG FLEMING offers the possibility and competence of legal consulting for clients from Germany and Europe in matters of US law.
