Christian Klatt has been working in the field of auditing since completing his studies in business administration at TFH Berlin (graduating in 2008). He began his professional career at a law firm specializing in energy law. After eight years, he moved to a newly founded auditing firm, where he played a key role in the successful establishment of the firm with a total of three locations as a tax advisor and senior employee. Before joining Schomerus & Partner, Mr. Klatt worked for an international auditing firm from the “Next Six” group.
He is a certified public accountant and tax advisor and has been with Schomerus & Partner since the beginning of 2024.
During his professional career, Mr. Klatt has been responsible for numerous annual and consolidated audits (including listed companies) in accordance with national and international accounting standards (IFRS, US-GAAP).
His professional focus is on auditing and advising energy generation and supply companies, drinking water and wastewater associations, and municipal public service companies.
Another focus is the audit of non-profit organizations and institutions, foundations, political parties, and start-up companies.
In addition, he performs special audits in accordance with the Packaging Act (VerpackG), the Broker and Real Estate Agent Ordinance (MaBV), the Workshop Ordinance (WVO), and the Financial Investment Brokerage Ordinance (FinVermV).
